Right after Gyeong Ju sight- seeing, we continue our journey to BUSAN !
We arrived after sunset when everything turn dark. It was a lil bit confusing.
Luckily, there are bus stop near our next accommodation.
In Busan, we stayed in Busan Yellow Hostel. It was simple, pretty & clean. Right in front of Songdo Beach with free flow coffee. What more to ask?
As soon as we check in the, we need to do what matter the most . DINNER !
There are plenty of seafood restaurant salong the beach . We just hope in one.
Indeed, the most satisfying meal i had in Korea. We ordered bleach octopus and grilled fish but we gotpajeon ( korean pancake) , shrimp, tauhu, quail egg , two big bowl of clam soup, radish & cabbagekimchi, 4 bowl of rice as side dish . All for only RM30 per person . We had dinner for 4 as Brinda was a lil tired and decided to sleep. Indeed happy tummy !
We start our morning by walking aroung the beach . White sandy beach.
Our first stop of the day is Gamcheon Culture Village. A must visit place in Busan. The famous colourful village . Drop by their infomation counter to grab the village's map & passport . Grab your own stamp for every attraction here
We drop by to one restaurant in the village that serve Lunch Box. I ordered vegetarian box with egg. You have to shake the dish well before eating. It was so delicious. I wish there was spicy octopus on the menu. Having lunch with whole village scenery. It just splendid. After lunch we move to the rooftop to have a cup of cappucino with relaxing, looking at the scenery. We spent almost one hour and half here.
We continued our Gamcheon Culture Village exploration after relaxing yet satifying lunch. & dont forget to send a poscard from the village to home.
Next, we headed to Jakgalchi Market. They are divided into several area. wet fish market, dry & others. In Jakgalchi Market, we can immediately buy the ingrediants and ask them to cook. We also can buy tons of side dishes. I am so tempted with their soy sauce baby crab. All side dishes looks so amazing.
Did i mention anchovies? That taste really amazing too. Not to miss their wide range of kimchi. We bought several roll of vegetarian kimbab. Those .. rolls.. taste... really to die for. Even thinking about it now make my mouth water.
We tried to make our own ppongi (Korean Sugar Candy) too. Tarra. Mine was break into several pieces. I gave up & went to search for coffee. You can find lots of 1 litre coffee chain which their cup is 1 litre. However, it will still be ok as their coffee taste a lot thinner compare to our coffee. I need to mixed 3 sachets of coffee just to make the taste equivalent to oldtown's coffee taste. So dont be too shock & just enjoy the amount . =)
As for dinner, we grabbed ramyun, Triangular kimbab , pepero & more . && picnic along Songdo Beach after walking along Songdo Walkway. In my opinion, It is better to walk along Songdo Walkway during the night rather than morning as light & sound of waves hitting the beach make it more sentimental.
That will be our last dinner in South Korea .
Indeed, i need another repeat to Seoul & Busan. Can never get enough.
The next day we checked out at 7, grab a taxi && headed to the airport to continue our daily life in KL.
Thanks.
