Continue my last post on my Macau -Hong Kong trip with Aida last February. My trip to Macau continued to Hong Kong . Hong Kong pretty much Asia hub for shopping I must said. Most people preferred choosing China as their shopping place, but for me Hong Kong is my ideal place. Aci la acah-acah nak jumpa Andy Lau. This trip been my second time to Hong Kong. My last visit was.. hm... when I was form 4 ..I guess?
Entered Hong Kong with turbo jet from Macau was a pleasant journey. Less than an hour and it is not that expensive. Thus, it is doable for my option. IT approximately around RM70 per journey. As we decided to stay in the island part of Hong Kong. So, we choose the journey from Macau to the post in Island as well.
Tarra, the not so complex subway map made the trip it easy. A bit complicated compared to LRT, Comuter and Monorail KL. but as per the others said. We had survived London. This should just be a piece of cake . We stayed in Best Western, Causeway Bay. The hotel located right opposite the site of Time Square Hong Kong. Seriously dekat !
Many people said. " La.. kenapa tak duduk Tsim Tsa Tsui? Banyak makanan halal." I dont know why do i decided not to care other people words and go with my instinct. as all the attraction that we want to visit I am lucky enough. from our hotel. there is one morning market that sell halal duck rice. and it taste soooo good! when i said dekat , memang dekat. around 3 minutes from our hotel's lobby. in 5 minute walk there is another pizza place and further 2 minute walk. tarra... a mosque with a food court. i still can remember our dimsum .. yummy
As we stayed in causeway, we decided to go along the Victoria Harbour during the first night to enjoyed night breeze while having yam ice-cream . ( it was so sudden and i forgot to snap, taste a bit weird.. but as yam.. so it yammy . hahahahha ).
We actually miss the light showdown in at Victoria that night, nevertheless the view was breathtaking. serious cantik ! We went during end of February. the weather was still chilly, approx. at 16 o C, breezing and chilling.
Best Western Causeway Bay menjadi pilihan kali ni. It was right across the Tiffany&Co. punya side door of Times Square. Easy to find and near to MRT. Times Square station located less than 3 minute walk from our hotel. Dekat kan? Our room located at level 33. Seriously, masuk-masuk je, bukak je langsir, terpegun tengok lampu. Almost the whole night view. Amazing. =)
We need to rest well as we chose the next day to be our "Disneyland Day" . Spend our whole day here, it was fun just that.... a lil turn off due to some attractions closed down for maintenance and upgrade.
Day 3 occupied with our day to the longest escalator in the world, egg tart hunting and the peak as well as strolling around the city plus SHOPPING ! One escalator after one. take the middle exit to had the oldest standing shop for egg tart. smashing taste. However, i preferred the tart from Fisherman's Whart in Macau. Portuguese egg tart style. Nevertheless, both me and Aida had ample amount of egg tart, we had around 2 per day and 6-7 for the whole trip.
Here, i recommend egg tart in Macau and Hong Kong. Shafiqa, enough with your egg tart please.
The Peak of Hong Kong chosen as our next stop before headed to Shopping. We took tram to reach the peak. From there, you can see the whole of Hong Kong. Unfortunately, it was foggy that day. The Peak literally as per its name. The Top of Hong Kong. oh ya, we did tied up our love notes up there. look up for it =)
The food cafe located at level 5 of the islamic centre and they have variety of dim sum. as well as other food like noodles and all. =) Happy Kid with Happy Tummy. Seriously, we even had Spicy Chicken Feet DimSum. Yang tu seriousy sedap weyh. tak tipu. We had our nice dim sum day on our final afternoon right before headed to the airport. Right after dzohor prayer we rushed straight to the airport.
That pretty much what we did in HongKong-Macau. Feb. 2016.
Shafiqa and Aida trip.Final trip before she start busy before changing her Miss to Mrs. =)
