31. Ipoh Gataway

This post might be a lil bit outdated as we went to Ipoh like, last 20th March 2016. around 5 months ago. Serious dah lama kan ? Decided to go for a road trip to Ipoh as Farah came back for holiday for around a month for her Brother's wedding. So, the trip consist of Me, Farah, Azy, Aliah and Illy. So, as crew member just about 5 people, so we all just hop into my car. Yesza, lama tak jadi pilot jalan jauh.. Next trip boleh naik kereta baru Aliah and Illy. wuhoo. =)

According to original plan, we should headed to Ipoh by 8 but due to certain circumstances, we head start late, around 11? Hahahahhahaha. 3 hours . Not that late just a lot hungry. So, Aliah fetch Azy and Illy. Park their car at my house and we headed to Farah . Farah punya rumah satu jalan ke Ipoh. So, from there.. haip2 away.

Our first pit stop of #JJCM Ipoh was "Nasi Ganja". Frankly speaking . memang ganja. Mengantok lepas makan. So, from there you can see my menu or my breakfast at 1 pm. Nasi, ayam goring, bendi, popadom, kuah campur and limau ais.  Mengoda kan?

Lepas makan, we chill and talk and chill for around 1/2 hour. Day wont be perfect without coffee. So, let's go for coffee hunting .

Mural across Ipoh city kinda feel like treasure hunt, as if in Shah Alam, it will be in Syeksyen 7, and only in one corner while the art in Ipoh is scatter around the town .

Our First pit stop, the expensive coffee. Terkejut time nak bayar . The shop called " The Happy 8". Interior of the café was splendid. 4.5 star for interior, and 3 star for the coffee. Just Aliah's cold brew tasted too acidic type of coffee. Maybe too much for me to bear. But, the rest of our order was nice.

"Bits and Bobs- Sejak Selalu" .
I don't remember name of rest of the stall around it. Ais Kepal to sooth out body for hot Malaysia Summer time. Alkmaklumlah, angkot akak Germany . hahahha. One thing I remembered about that place was it located behind Plan B. My Ais Kepal is Sarsi Flavour. Took me awhile to finish it up. After all, it is a good choice to drop by. Please, anyone. I recommend it for sensation during our Hot all time Summer.

Coffee 2 - Buku Tiga Lima. As we entered the front, it felt like time travel as ambiance seem so 70's . Maybe this is what zaman P.Ramlee feels like. Ok, maybe I exaggerate it a lil bit. Their coffee taste good after all, the atmosphere and all. I love this place.

Coffee 3- Burps & Giggles. We have to pass through this café in order to get to Buku Tiga Lima. The painting right below catch my eyes as soon as I entered the café. Splendid, Thumb up for the artist.

We continued our journey by strolling around the area, taking photo here and there. The preserved architecture and mural made Ipoh seem so tourist - worthy.

** I can't find any photo of Illy with Mural in my folder. Menyorok folder lain mungkin.

It a must for anyone who went to Ipoh to drop by the original place of the famous "Ipoh Oldtown White Coffee". The shop being marked as the first landmark of tourist attraction strolling location. It might not be as rich feels like Starbucks but Malaysia original Kampung Coffee had their own charm. My favourite will be Hazelnut White Coffee. I just cant resist the call.

**We drop by to the nearest shopping mall for Aliah must drop item . =)

Our Final place before headed back to KL.
Next place for Malaysia Road Trip? Yet to be decided. Waiting for Farah to come home
We miss you .
