My trip to Korea took place on April last year. It might be a lil late for a blog post, yet better late than never. This actually the last trip before the guys end their bachelor title this year. We took of for early morning flight from KLIA2 straight to Incheon Airport. In Seoul, we choose to stay in G Guesthouse In Itaewon. (131-11 Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-Gu, 140-858 Seoul, South Korea)
It was located just 1 minutes from exit 5 && for me it is very handy. Just that the location up hill might be hard for those with bad knees or maybe for older people. Other than that, it is just perfect. Both owner, Shrek & Fiona were very friendly and helpful. They even gave us free souvenir during our check out day. (I guess.. they just gave it to everybody, just we were those feeling too excited about it) .
We start the next day by touring around major Seoul attraction.
First of all, We went to Gyeongbokugng & then rush to Deoksugong for Royal Guard Changing ceremony. The experience is more or less like when you watch guard changing ceremony in London but more tourist friendly & close-up oriental style. You also able to try their traditional Hambok for free. (with condition, it came in your size). As you can see, Ibnor & Rahim enjoying their hambok to the fullest.
it is clearly Spring yet it seem like Autumn. With purple leafs & slightly cold weather. We are just a lil late for Spring Blossom, seem like a week late. Neverthelessm the bright side of it will be less people .
Right after our royal castle, we headed to Namsan Tower. A must visit attraction for visitor (especially if you come as a couple or on your honeymoon). The feeling of being at the top && as soon as you climb along towards the top you able to see wariety of locks that hold two people's wishes & hope for their future relationship encounter. i must say that they had me at hello. it such an amazing sight.
while we are there, we decided to go straight to the top . We bought the promo ticket with soft drinks & popcorn. They are absolutely delicious & fully caramalised. It opnly $9 per person (roundtrip) & it open till 11pm daily.
While on top, we decided to send a postcard to ourself. & the cop will be from the top of N Tower. Ain't that cool ? I realised that the fridge magnet that you get here are pretty good bargain (unless if you searching for super high quality magnet). It worth if you find something as souvenir for friends & family. I get mind from here too & i relieved that i got one from here.
A cup of coffee is a must from me, certainly wont giveaway a chance to have coffee from the top. The one here is from A Twosome Place. For those korean drama addict. This coffee chain had featured in Master's Son.
We wrapped our day with endless shopping in Myeong Dong. Myeong Dong had been the house to lots of famous cosmetic brand such as Face Shop, Nature Republic, Banilla & Co, Missha, Holika Molika, Innisfree, Olive Young Tony More && the list will go on & on. The best part here is that, you can get free stuff such as samples & face mask without even buying anything. Just walk pass certaoin store & they will give you free sample & their promotion are really crazy.
Our tiring day ended with a meal sponsor by Linda (we met her at the entrance of Nature Republic. It was my first time meeting her.)It was really delicious pajeon && it was really cheap. We order two whole lot and had if for all 6 of us and there are still some balance left. it cost less than RM2 per person. Aint that cheap ?
